If you study for a long time, then know the right way to sit

The month of February and March is the exam season. Obviously, children must have been engaged in its preparation from now on, and for this, sitting for a long time, studies will also be done.

It is necessary to sit for a long time for studies, but along with it take care of the right posture. Otherwise, there may be other health problems.

It is often seen that children study by bending or sitting in the wrong way, that too for a long time. This can cause pain or another discomfort in the back, arms, shoulders, and knees. If the seating area is arranged properly, then they will not face much difficulty.

The height of the desk should be such that the child can rest his hands on it comfortably. It would be better if you choose the desk only after looking at the length of the child. There should be enough space under the desk to keep the feet. The height of the chair with the desk should be such that the feet can touch the ground comfortably. An adjustable chair is perfect for kids.

And yes, there must be a hand rest on the side of the chair, so that the child can rest by keeping his hand. Place the books on the desk in front of you, not next to it. Keep the computer monitor straight on the desk.

Similarly, keep the keyboard in such a way that the letter B is in the middle of the stomach. This will not hurt the hands much. Don't hold the mouse too far. Keep the document holder right next to the monitor so that you don't have to run around for important papers. Do not place the wrists on the sharp edges of the desk while typing or at rest.

Along with being desk and chair friendly, it is also important to have the right way of sitting. Sit upright in a chair, for comfort, keep a cushion or towel folded in the back. Never sit on the chair facing forward.

After sitting for a long time, keep moving and rotating the shoulders in between, so that the shoulders remain relaxed. Do not sit with your legs crossed for a long time, it can cause pain in the legs. Give some rest to the eyes in between while studying.

Take a break in between studies, like standing up or taking a short walk. Due to this, the muscles remain active and blood circulation is also correct. Never read while lying on the bed, it will cause laziness, and sleep will also start coming soon. Wherever you study, there must be a system of adequate lighting.

The correct position for computer

Maintain proper posture while working on the computer. While working, keep blinking the eyelids in between. It does not dry out the eyes and does not cause irritation.

Blink your eyes slowly ten times every half hour in such a way that you are sleeping. Or take your eyes off the computer screen every half an hour and stare at something at a distance for 5-10 seconds.

To re-adjust your focus, first, focus on a distant object for 10-15 seconds and then focus on a nearby object for 10-15 seconds.

Both of these exercises will not strain your eyesight and will also stretch the focusing muscles of your eyes. Also, take a 20-second break every 20 minutes and look 20 feet away.
