Eight Lip and Cheek Colors We Love

The most convenient beauty product, in my opinion, is unquestionably a promising lip and cheek tint. The one-and-done product that beauty aficionados long for is a lip and cheek tint since it is small, compact, and incredibly useful. And if it has a formula that is buttery soft, long-wearing, and packed with pigment, it is a true gem.

Before the lockdown, I was a major (read: obsessive) fan of lip and cheek tints, and I (suddenly) went to minimalism, just like everyone else. It became a ride-or-die situation in my vanity, handbag, cosmetic pouch, and any other location you can think of.

For our benefit, the market is flooded with this inexpensive cosmetic product, the majority of which are pleasantly surprising—almost stellar—in their quality. Although we are all familiar with the classics by Daughter Earth, Ilana, Benefit, and company, I've found a few new songs that I like as well.

Love Tint's advantages

Okay, before you attack me, let me explain. I know I just announced a "new" discovery, but this brand's recently launched Love Tint is considerably more pigmented than the cult Benetint, long-lasting, and shows up instantly. In comparison to the OG watery tint, the thicker recipe has more viscosity and is therefore more economical.

Lip tattoo by Dior

Consider the Lip Tattoo from Dior if you're wanting to invest in a lip and cheek tint due to all the convenience and comfort it provides to your life. The formula, which comes in a variety of colours to suit your numerous moods, is light weight while still providing the highest colour payoff possible. Additionally, it blends well.

Velvet Ink Peri Pera

As its name suggests, the thick and delicious substance has an ink-like viscosity and is available in a variety of colour families. There is a PeriPera Ink Velvet to suit all of your tastes and moods, from nudes and corals to pinks and reds. The good thing about these lipsticks is that they claim to have pigmentation similar to liquid lipstick.

Powder Rouge Tint by Etude House

It took me a few glances when I first used this lip tint to realise that I was wearing a lip tint rather than a power-finish lipstick. It is that lovely. In addition to the striking one-swipe colour payoff, the formula—the very essence of the product—is what makes it stand out in a market flooded with watery and liquid-based tints. It also functions as a matte, mousse-like blush.

Lip and cheek tint from Love Earth Multipot

The Love Earth Lip and Cheek Tint multi-pot is a true multitasker because it has the capabilities of several different beauty products.

This product should be a part of your cosmetics collection because it has a very hydrating formula and an incredibly light texture that feels wonderful on the lips. This lotion contains jojoba oil and vitamin E, which will help your lips and cheeks acquire the appropriate blushy pink hue. The pinnacle of achievement is the list of all-natural ingredients.

Advantage Cosmetics Benetint

The daring but naive, the risqué and pure! To achieve the same result, simply swipe the product's gorgeous doe-shaped applicator across your lips and cheeks. All you need to complete any look, including a natural, makeup-free one, is the tint's subtle, see-through radiance.

Lip tint in Water Fit by The Face Shop

The line's vibrant reds and pinks will cover all your bases, whether you desire a gradient lip or a fully coloured lip. The glass-like sheen provides a high sheen and an all-day sparkle. Additionally, it can deliver the chicest sun-kissed cheeks.

IBA Must Wear Cheek and Lip Tint

It's not difficult to get simple beachy looks with freshly blended rose-colored lips or sunburned cheeks! The product's creamy matte texture and sheer natural finish give off a natural sheen that's excellent for a simple summer look. The skin absorbs the natural components with ease, and they deliver all the advantages. What distinguishes this product from the other five colours in the series are the nude tones.

How to Do a Salon-Quality Manicure at Home

Introduction

Getting a manicure at the salon always feels luxurious, relaxing, and refreshing. But what if you could achieve that same salon-quality finish right at home — without the cost or appointment hassle? With the right tools, techniques, and care, anyone can create a professional-looking manicure at home.

In today’s beauty world, at-home self-care has become more than just a trend; it’s a necessity. Whether you want to save time, money, or simply enjoy a pampering session, learning how to do a salon-quality manicure at home gives you control over your nail health and style.

In this detailed guide, we’ll walk through every step — from preparation and shaping to polishing and aftercare — so you can achieve flawless, long-lasting nails that look like they were done by a professional.

Why Do a Manicure at Home?

Doing your own manicure at home has many benefits:

  1. Cost-Effective – Professional manicures can be expensive, especially if done regularly. Doing them yourself saves money while still keeping your nails beautiful.

  2. Convenience – No waiting for appointments or salon queues. You can pamper yourself anytime.

  3. Customization – You get to choose your colors, designs, and techniques.

  4. Hygiene Control – You can ensure cleanliness by using your own sanitized tools.

  5. Self-Care Routine – Doing your nails is a relaxing, mindful activity that helps reduce stress and boost confidence.

With practice, your at-home manicures can look just as polished and professional as salon ones — if not better.

Step-by-Step Guide to a Salon-Quality Manicure at Home

Let’s dive into the complete step-by-step process to achieve a perfect manicure at home.

Step 1: Gather Your Tools and Supplies

Before starting, it’s important to have everything ready. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Nail polish remover

  • Cotton pads or wipes

  • Nail clippers

  • Nail file (preferably glass or fine-grit emery board)

  • Cuticle pusher or orangewood stick

  • Cuticle remover or oil

  • Nail buffer

  • Hand scrub (optional)

  • Moisturizing lotion or hand cream

  • Base coat

  • Nail polish (any color you love)

  • Top coat

Having all these tools ready ensures a smooth process without interruptions.

Step 2: Remove Old Nail Polish

If you have leftover polish, start by removing it completely using a non-acetone nail polish remover. Acetone-based removers can dry out your nails and cuticles, so a gentler option is better for frequent manicures.

Tips:

  • Soak a cotton pad with remover and hold it on each nail for 5–10 seconds before wiping.

  • Avoid scrubbing too hard, as it can weaken the nail surface.

How do you reduce the oiliness of your skin?

Living with oily skin can be aggravating, and it might feel as if you've never grown out of being an uncomfortable adolescent plagued by pimples and blackheads. The good news is that there is assistance available, ranging from specialty cosmetics to skin-boosting nutrients.

Today, though, I'd want to concentrate on easy, efficient, and inexpensive home cures. There were several candidates for this list, as well as a couple suggestions that immediately drew my ire - please note that toothpaste is not the way to go when it comes to treating spots! However, I've come up with seven natural alternatives that you should be able to adopt from the convenience of your own house.

Aloe vera

If you've read any of my other skin blogs, you'll notice that I'm a big admirer of this specific treatment, and for good reason. Whether you're drinking aloe vera juice to assist good digestion or applying it to your skin, aloe vera is naturally cleaning and highly adaptable.

It's naturally anti-microbial, which is a feature you want in your skin products if you have oily skin because it implies it can fight bacteria that clog your pores. Aloe vera can also absorb excess oil, resulting in a more even complexion.

It's worth noting, however, that aloe vera may be rather abrasive on delicate skin, so I'd always recommend testing aloe vera gel before applying it to your face. Aloe vera gel can be found in most healthfood stores, or you can make your own by extracting it from the aloe vera plant's leaves! Aloe vera is a wonderful houseplant that requires little care and can even filter the air in your home, reducing indoor pollution!

You might also look for a skincare product that already has this component, like Aloe Pura's Aloe Vera Gel with Vitamins A, C, and E.

Excellent tips to make your nail paint last longer

Every woman enjoys having pretty and colorful nails. Every girl's dream is to have beautiful nails. Every year, a wider range of manicure styles, from matte nails to classic French manicures, nail art, and so much more, become popular. Even if it's just simple nail polish, you'd hate it if it started chipping off after a day or two. This could be due to constant hand washing or household chores such as cooking or washing dishes. So, there are a few things you can do to ensure that your nail polish stays intact.

1) Always use a topcoat: This is an unspoken rule when it comes to caring for your nail polish. After your nail paint has dried, apply a top coat to make it last longer and give your nails a glossy sheen. You should always buy a clear tint for a topcoat that can be used with any type of nail polish.
